About Me

Growing up, I knew I would become a designer of some sort, but I didn't realize the path I would take until I started heavily using the internet. While visiting websites, I couldn't help but think that we could do so much better. After I saw what was possible with CSS I was hooked!
The attention economy is tough, and it can be difficult to keep people engaged. This is why I believe it's important to keep a user-centered design approach, and why it's critical for us to listen to research and feedback. Growth in design many times comes through extrospection.
I also work in education and prepare multimedia art students for the workforce by training them and facilitating real-world projects. My students learn project management basics while being taught other skills throughout the creative process to produce at a high quality irrelevant of their skill level.
When I'm not working, you can find me snowboarding, hiking, jogging on the beach, and cooking. If you're a cheese addict as well, let's talk charcuterie!
